I founded Ogden Drum Studio in 2018, shortly after relocating from Seattle to Ogden. As a professional drummer with over 25 years of teaching experience, I'm passionate about sharing the art of drumming with others and have been very fortune to get to do just that.
At Ogden Drum Studio, I welcome students of all levels – from beginners to professional musicians. My approach is personalized, helping you to reach your goals. It's not just about teaching; it's about creating a community of musicians. I'm proud to say that even fellow drum teachers come to learn with me, which speaks volumes about the quality and depth of my lessons.

Whether you prefer to learn in person at my home studio in Ogden, to join me online via Zoom or self study using my program, I make sure that every lesson is accessible and convenient. At Ogden Drum studio I understand the balance between having fun and making serious progress. In fact, more progress leads directly to more fun. Every student gets access to Online Resources. This means that you will always know exactly how you are doing and what to work on. Tracking your progress is a really easy way to stay organized and motivated. Also, students receive weekly lessons notes by email and through the portal can access all of their lesson resources such as sheet music, play-along activities and practice tasks. We are also one of the few teaching studios in the USA to offer RSL graded music exams. This opportunity is open to all students of all levels that are interested in working towards a music qualification.
